Columbia Academy

Columbia Academy is a private, Christ-centered college preparatory school for students from preschool through 12th grade. Dual enrollment and Advanced Placement courses are offered to students to allow them to get college credit while in high school. Students have the option to take a career inventory test and to hear weekly career speakers to help better understand their strengths and career interests. A "Life Skills" class is offered to teach them how to do important skills like cooking, cleaning, and basic auto maintenance. Many CA students choose to apply to participate in organizations such as Youth Leadership Maury and the Columbia Mayor's Youth Council to better prepare them for their future careers.

The graduating Class of 2023 raked in some pretty impressive statistics: Their average ACT score was 23.3 and a combined total of over $6.3 million in scholarships was offered to graduating seniors. Of that class, 74% enrolled in a 4-year college, 16% went to a 2-year college, 6% went to a TCAT school, and 3% signed up for a trade school or the military.
